Straight answers, including the unflattering ones.
Everything here describes the product as it ships today. Where something isn't built yet, it says so rather than appearing on a feature list with an asterisk.
The video itself
What exactly do I get?
One cinematic landscape MP4 — 1792×1152, 48fps, roughly 20–30 seconds depending on the home — a calm, room-by-room walkthrough cut in the order a buyer would see the house. Specials like the furniture reveal and golden-hour close arrive with manual mode on Pro and Max. Ready for the MLS, YouTube, your email blast and your listing page.
Is it really my house in the video?
Yes — that's the whole point. Every clip is generated from one of your photos with a deliberately contained camera move, and its end frame is matched back into that photo. A clip whose camera travelled somewhere that isn't your house gets reshot once on a locked recipe.
Is there music or narration?
No. The master ships with no audio track at all, which is deliberate: you add your own licensed music without having to strip ours out first. There's no voice-over, no AI presenter and nobody on camera — the film is the property.
Can I get vertical videos for Reels and TikTok?
No. ListedReel ships landscape — the format the MLS, YouTube, listing pages and email actually use. We'd rather do one format properly than two badly.
How many photos should I upload?
Up to 40 in auto mode. A normal listing shoot is plenty — exteriors, main rooms, kitchen, primary suite. You don't need to order, tag or caption anything; the pipeline reads the set and works out what it's looking at.
What if my photos are low resolution?
They need at least 600px on the short side. Anything under 1000px is upscaled before the shot planner touches it. The video can only ever show what you photographed, so better source frames still make a better film.
Using it
Do I need to write prompts or edit anything?
No. Auto mode is one upload: we plan the shot list, generate the clips, audit them, grade the pacing and hand you a finished film. There is no timeline, no prompt box and no settings screen.
Can I review clips before the final render?
Not today. Every plan currently runs auto mode, with no review step. A manual mode — preview each clip as a draft and reshoot the ones you want — is in development for Pro and Max. We'll say it's live when it's live rather than sell it early.
How long does a video take?
About 10 minutes from upload to download, typically 6–15 depending on photo count. There's no scheduling step and no queueing a videographer — upload the photos, close the tab if you like, and the finished film is waiting on your dashboard.
Can I put my own branding on it?
On Max, your logo replaces the ListedReel watermark and you can add a branded end slide carrying your name, brokerage and contact details. Free and Pro videos carry a small ListedReel wordmark.
Pricing
Is the free video actually free?
Actually free. One video per account — one ever, not one a month — in auto mode, full 1080p, with a small watermark. No credit card, no trial countdown, no auto-converting subscription, and the file is yours to keep.
Do you use credits?
No. Plans are a flat number of finished videos per month: 5 on Pro, 15 on Max. There's no per-photo charge, no per-generation meter, and no way to run out mid-video.
What does a video work out to?
$7.80 per video on Pro at $39/month, and $6.60 on Max at $99/month if you use the full allowance. A videographer is $100–$1,000+ per listing.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your plan page. You keep your plan's features until the end of the period you've paid for, then drop back to free.
Rights and accuracy
What about photo rights?
You confirm you own or are licensed to use the photos when you upload — a hard rule, not fine print. ListedReel is built for agents and the photographers they hire, not for scraping listings behind anyone's back.
Who owns the finished video?
You do. Download the MP4 and use it wherever you like — MLS, portals, social, email, your own site.
Is the video safe to publish on a listing?
It's built from your own photos and audited back against them, which is the part that matters for misrepresentation. Disclosure and branding rules still vary by MLS and board, so check yours the same way you would for any tour — see AI video and MLS compliance for what NAR, state law and real MLS rulebooks require.
