Reel-E alternative
ListedReel vs Reel-E: one checked landscape film, or six formats per listing.
Reel-E charges per listing and hands you six files: 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1, branded and unbranded, with music. ListedReel charges per video and hands you one silent landscape film with every clip checked against your photos. Here is the comparison, with the date every fact was verified.
Last checked September 8, 2026.
The short answer
Pick Reel-E if your listing goes to Reels, TikTok and a feed post as well as the MLS. One charge covers 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1, branded and unbranded, with a beat-synced royalty-free track and per-photo camera-move controls, from $59 a month or $44 billed annually. Pick ListedReel if the landscape master is the file you actually post, you want a flat $39 for 5 videos with no annual commitment, and you want every clip checked against the photo it came from.
These two are closer than most pairs in this category. Both take a photo upload and generate camera motion rather than panning across a still. They differ on what a payment buys, how many formats come out, and whether anything verifies the footage before you see it.

The pricing difference
Per listing, or per video.
Reel-E bills a listing and gives you six files for it. ListedReel bills a video and gives you one. Whether that is expensive or cheap depends entirely on how many of the six you post.
Do the division. Month to month, Reel-E Essential is $19.67 a listing against ListedReel Pro at $7.80 a video. Paid annually, Reel-E Growth is $9.70 a listing, which is six files for roughly the price of one ListedReel video. If you post the vertical, the square and the unbranded cuts, Reel-E is better value per file, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
The catch is the commitment. Reel-E's headline prices are the annual ones; month to month, Essential is $59. ListedReel has one monthly number and a free first video. The ListedReel pricing page has the full list, and the real estate video cost guide puts both against hiring a videographer.
More points in Reel-E's favour: unused listings roll over, banking up to 9, 30 or 150 by plan; a subscription re-renders your trial projects without their watermark; and the plan also carries a listing website, photo edits, virtual staging and 4K on their $599 tier. ListedReel videos do not roll over, 1080p is its only resolution, and no ListedReel plan is watermark-free.
| Plan | Price | Per unit |
|---|---|---|
| ListedReel Free | $0 / 1 video, once | $0 |
| ListedReel Pro | $39 / 5 videos | $7.80 |
| ListedReel Max | $99 / 15 videos | $6.60 |
| Reel-E trial | 7 days / up to 3 listings | Watermarked |
| Reel-E Essential | $59 ($44) / 3 listings | $19.67 ($14.67) |
| Reel-E Growth | $129 ($97) / 10 listings | $12.90 ($9.70) |
| Reel-E Pro | $599 ($449) / 50 listings | $11.98 ($8.98) |
The difference that matters
Both generate motion. Only one of them checks it.
This is the substantive difference behind the feature lists, and it is worth more attention than the aspect ratios.
Reel-E and ListedReel are in the same technical family, and neither is a slideshow. Reel-E describes generating orbits, push-ins and pull-outs per photo, read on September 8, 2026, and lets you set the move on a hero shot yourself. ListedReel generates the moves automatically, with no controls at all.
Generated video also drifts: a doorway opens onto a room the house does not have, a window appears in a blank wall, furniture arrives that nobody owns. On a listing video that is a disclosure problem, not a style choice. Every ListedReel clip is checked against the photo it came from, and the ones that drift are reshot or dropped before the film is cut. Reel-E does not advertise an equivalent check; their claim is that the motion is consistent and predictable, which is a different promise.
What that buys you and what it costs you:
- Reel-E: about 2 minutes to six finished files, revisions if a shot is wrong, and you deciding whether each clip is honest.
- ListedReel: about 10 minutes, because the checking happens before delivery, and reshoots cost you nothing.
- Either way, watch the film before you attach it. Our fidelity page explains what the check does, and AI video and MLS compliance covers the rules side.
One honest caveat: 2 minutes is faster than 10, and if you are building videos in front of a seller at a listing appointment, that gap is the whole argument.
Six files or one
Count the formats you actually post.
Reel-E's central pitch is that one listing charge produces 16:9, 9:16 and 1:1, each in a branded and an unbranded version. That is six files, and it is a real advantage if you use them.
Count what actually went out on your last ten listings. Three patterns are common, and only one makes the bundle worth it.
- MLS, the listing page and an email blast only. You post one landscape file and never touch the rest. ListedReel is cheaper.
- Landscape plus a vertical for Reels and TikTok. Reel-E saves you the recrop; ListedReel means five minutes in CapCut per listing, or a phone vertical you shoot anyway.
- Every channel, branded for social and unbranded for the MLS, on every listing. Reel-E is the better tool and the better price per file. Buy it.
Judge the output

Choose ListedReel if…
- You want a real free video before you give anyone a card, and one flat monthly price with no annual commitment to reach the cheap tier.
- Landscape 16:9 for the MLS, YouTube, the listing page and an email blast is the only file you actually need.
- The video has to show the house as photographed, and you want something checking that on every clip rather than you checking it.
- You want to upload the whole shoot, up to 40 photos, on the cheapest paid plan rather than the middle one.
- You would rather add your own track in Instagram or CapCut than ship the tool's music bed.
Choose Reel-E if…
- You post the same listing to Reels, TikTok and a feed post, and want 9:16 and 1:1 cuts without recropping anything.
- You need a branded version and an unbranded version of every format from one upload.
- You want music included, beat-synced, and cleared for commercial use.
- You want to steer individual shots: pick the orbit on the kitchen, the pull-out on the great room, then revise.
- You want 4K, and you list enough to justify their Pro plan.
- You want a listing website and photo edits or virtual staging in the same subscription.
- You list in bursts and want unused listings to roll over into your busy month.
ListedReel does none of those seven things. We would rather you pick the right tool than pick us for the wrong listing.

Reel-E and ListedReel are two points on a wide map. If neither fits, these are the honest next stops.
- AutoReel if you want vertical output with music, captions and avatars from a feature-rich editor. The ListedReel vs AutoReel comparison has the dated numbers.

- A free option first, if you are only testing whether video moves the needle. Start with a free real estate video maker.
- Neither, yet, if you are not sure video beats a photo slideshow. The real estate video marketing statistics and slideshow versus video are the sourced version of that argument.

ListedReel vs Reel-E, asked plainly
What is a good Reel-E alternative?
ListedReel is the closest alternative if you want one cinematic landscape film per listing without paying for formats you never post. It turns up to 40 listing photos into a 1080p landscape MP4 in about 10 minutes, at $39 a month for 5 videos or $99 for 15, with the first video free and no card. Reel-E is the better buy if you need vertical and square cuts, branded and unbranded versions, and music in the delivered file.
How much does Reel-E cost?
As read from reel-e.ai/pricing on September 8, 2026, Reel-E is $59 a month for Essential (3 listings), $129 for Growth (10 listings) and $599 for Pro (50 listings, 4K), each about 25 percent cheaper paid annually: $44, $97 and $449 a month. Enterprise is custom. There is no free plan; the entry point is a 7-day trial covering up to 3 listings, watermarked until you subscribe.
Is ListedReel cheaper than Reel-E?
Month to month, yes, and it is not close: ListedReel Pro is $39 for 5 videos ($7.80 each) against Reel-E Essential at $59 for 3 listings ($19.67 each). Paid annually the gap narrows, because Reel-E Growth at $97 a month for 10 listings is $9.70 a listing, and a listing is six files while a ListedReel video is one. If you post all six formats, Reel-E's cost per file is lower. Prices for both were checked on September 8, 2026.
What does Reel-E do that ListedReel does not?
A fair amount. Vertical 9:16 and square 1:1 exports, branded and unbranded versions of each, a royalty-free track synced to the cuts, per-photo camera-move controls, revisions, 4K on their top plan, a listing website, photo edits and virtual staging, rollover of unused listings, and white-label plus API access on Enterprise. ListedReel does none of that. It ships one silent landscape film per listing and spends its effort on checking that the film matches your photos.
Does Reel-E have a free plan?
No. Checked on September 8, 2026, Reel-E offers a 7-day free trial in which you build up to 3 listings with your own photos. Their documentation states trial renders carry a Reel-E logo watermark with downloads locked, and that every trial project re-renders clean when the trial converts. ListedReel's free tier is one full 1080p video per account, once, which you download and keep, with a small ListedReel wordmark on it.
Which one leaves a watermark on the video?
Both, and this is the one place Reel-E is plainly better. Reel-E watermarks trial videos only; once you subscribe, every format downloads clean. ListedReel puts a small ListedReel wordmark on Free and Pro videos, and Max at $99 a month replaces it with your own logo. There is no watermark-free ListedReel tier. If an unmarked file matters to you on a cheap plan, that is a reason to pick Reel-E.
Can I get vertical video for Reels from ListedReel?
Not today. ListedReel outputs landscape only, at 1792×1152 and 48 fps. Reel-E gives you 9:16 and 1:1 from the same upload, and so do AutoReel and BetterSpace AI. Landscape is still the file the MLS, YouTube, a listing page and an email blast all want, so plenty of agents post the landscape master and cut a vertical in CapCut in five minutes.
Do both tools generate camera motion, or is one a slideshow?
Both generate motion rather than panning across a still. Reel-E describes orbits, push-ins and pull-outs generated per photo, and lets you choose the move on each shot. ListedReel generates the moves automatically, with no controls. The difference is what happens next: ListedReel checks every clip against the photo it came from and reshoots or drops the ones that drift, which matters when the video is attached to a listing you have to describe accurately.
Can I try both before deciding?
Yes, with one shoot. ListedReel gives every account one full video, once, watermarked, no card. Reel-E gives you 7 days and up to 3 listings, watermarked until you subscribe. Run the same 20 photos through both and compare the files rather than the feature tables.
